Auditions For Theatre 33 August Play,
Theatre 33, a new play development theatre company performing in the summer in Salem, Oregon at Willamette University, is producing a workshop production of a new play called “Amanda, Transcending” by Connie Bennett. The play tells the story of Amanda, a Coos Indian woman during the years of 1853 and 1864. In 1864 she was made to march 60 miles up the coast to the Alsea subagency in Yachats River. The play recounts the contemporary true story of creating the Amanda Trail in Yachats, OR.
